This post is dedicated to Paolo Pischedda, he has been my classmate for 5 years now, and we have really had a great time together. But great things don’t last forever!
Yesterday around midday he was involved in a horrific car accident. A truck from the fire department came and cut him lose from the car, and a helicopter arrived at the place moments after. He got transported to the nearest hospital but his injuries were too severe and he therefore passed away five hours after the accident!
He was buried today at the graveyard in his hometown.
He will always be remembered as a cheerful, intelligent and fun person, having his own ways of doing things (and regularly better than others) and with lots of positive charisma too. He was really a unique person; he could get a smile on everybody’s face with his hilarious jokes and fun ways of doing things, wherever he was, people were always smiling. He didn’t mind putting other peoples problems on first priority compared to his own, giving a hand to every person that was in need (especially at our exam project). He was the most intelligent of the class, but not because he studied 24/7, but because he could imagine in a logical way how things worked, and if he didn’t know the answer to something he would seek it down and then memorize it forever. His jokes were so amusing that they could make you laugh even on the worst days (like a day with a 5 hours of tests).
But as I said before, great things don’t last forever! Unfortunately the great times finished much in advance at the age of only 19 years!
R.I.P. my friend, one day we will meet again!
p.s. Take care, and remember to drive carefully, because bad things can happen in split seconds!
