Happy New Year to all of you, I really hope you had a blast .

I celebrated New Year ’s Eve on the beach here in Byron Bay, it really was a new experience for me having New Year’s Eve on a beach. I was just dancing with the girls in front of a big fire made on the beach most of the night, so that was great . I’ll give you the full details on my entire Byron Bay tip once I return, so stay tuned .

Now you may be wondering why there is written “Happy Birthday” in the post title J. Well today it is exact 1 year ago that I launched WoM, and what a year !
It has been a year full of page improvements (I’m just thinking about the first WoM layout right now ), full of entertainment (like the crazy car experiments), and full of other crazy/random stuff. I’m myself very satisfied about the effort and time that I have but into WoM, and I really hope you are too .
So what will happen in the next year? Well, next year will be filled with all my Down Under adventures, and I’m really sure that it would be a hell lot of fun. The only bad thing about this next year on WoM, will be that I can’t upload videos from my SD60, this is due to that I haven’t got the Panasonic programme that converts the video files in a normal YouTube file, so I’m very sorry for that, but remember, once I return I’ll convert all the footage I have been making on my long trip, and it’s gonna be a lot, I’ll assure you that one!. Until then you can watch my pictures I’m uploading on my Facebook account once in a while (remember that I always post a link to them under the related posts).
I’ll do my best to keep you as updated as possible while on my trip, and remember that you can always ask if you want some more info on something .

I hope all the best for you in the new year, mine will sure be full of new experiences .

Merry Christmas to all of you out there. I really hope that you have a wonderful Christmas wherever you are in the world.

Right now I’m in the internet café at my hostel writing you this message while the rain is pouring down outside, but no way that some silly rain will ruin my Christmas spirit, today it’s Christmas day and I’ll have fun the entire day celebrating it with all my backpacker friends here at the hostel, can’t wait .

Happy Halloween to all of you out there .

I really love all about Halloween, even the colours hehe (Orange and Black are my favourite D). Usually at Halloween when I wake up I’ll open my computer and go see some Halloween videos on YouTube, just get in the Halloween mood . Normally while I watch the videos I get a little nostalgic, you see, when I was a kid in Denmark I made these awesome Halloween parties. I did them because my birthday was in the middle of the national Danish summer vacation, so more then half my classmates were far away at some sunny beach, and therefore I decided to throw a Halloween party instead of holding a birthday party. It became a huge success, and every year (months before the party), my friends were already talking about it in school . Anyway, back to Italy. These past years I have been going to a discotheque that only opens on special occasions (like Halloween), and every time I went there I had a good time, but this year though, I won’t be going there. My little sister is throwing a little party at my house, so I have invited my friend over; I don’t know how it’s going to be, but we can always leave if it isn’t no good hehe . I thought of writing a little about the history of Halloween, but it may have got a little too boring, so if you want, you can go check it out on Wikipedia (it’s really a great and detailed article).

Even though I love Halloween I won’t be dressing up (it has been a long time since I last did it), but if I really had to do it I think that I already know what to be. You see, I’m a really big fan of both the Left 4 Dead games, so I think I would have been dressing up as either a hunter (a zombie that is wearing a black hoodie and jumps on it’s prays from long distance, ripping them apart), and if not, I think that I would have been a common infected (that’s a normal zombie) (hint: click on the hunter or common infected to se a picture of them). Only problem is that I don’t like the whole thing of guys wearing make-up, I think it’s really gay’ish, so dressing up is excluded. I have found a really nice video of a Left 4 Dead fan dressing up as a special infected, really nice video!

Now you have heard a little about what I will be doing today, so now it’s time to ask what you will be doing . Do you dress out, and if yes, as what? Are you staying home or going out to a friend’s house? What are you looking forward up to?

Just a fast Easter greeting to all of you out there .

I wish you a bright and happy day, filled with the nicest things that spring can bring .

I have included a video on how to make Hot cross buns (in case you want to bake something haha), they are traditional fare for Christian Easter. Usually eaten on Good Friday, the cross-marked on top serves as a symbol for Jesus’ crucifixion (in case you didn’t know) .
I have been searching a little on YouTube and this video seems the best, and the woman in the video is kind of hot too haha, enjoy.

Hey Max here, I’m back, and I just wanted to wish you a great valentine’s day.

Every year at this day millions of gifts are exchanged between lovers, but why do we actually do it? And who is St. Valentine? Well now I will tell you, I’m almost sure that you don’t know the story .

Well, legend tells that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers that those with wives and family, so he outlawed marriage for young men, but Valentine defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages in secret. But then Valentine were discovered and Claudius ordered him arrested. While awaiting his punishment in prison, Valentine was approached by his jailor, Asterius. It was said that Valentine had an ability to heal people. Asterius had a blind daughter and knowing of the miraculous powers of Valentine he requested the latter to restore the sight of his blind daughter, and the legend tells that he succeed to do so. When emperor Claudius II met Valentine, he tried to convert Valentine to the Roman gods but was unsuccessful in his efforts. Valentine refused to recognize Roman Gods and he even attempted to convert the emperor, knowing the consequences fully. This angered Claudius II who gave the order of execution of Valentine. Meanwhile, a deep friendship had been created between Valentine and Asterius’ daughter, and it caused great pain to the young girl hearing of his friend’s death. It is said that just before his execution, Valentine asked for a pen and paper from his jailor, and signed a farewell message to her “From Your Valentine,” a phrase that lived ever after.

It is believed that Valentine was executed on February 14, 270 AD. Therefore 14th February became a day for all lovers and Valentine became it’s Saint. On that particular day Romans began to do handwritten greetings of affection, known as Valentines, to the women they admired. But it was only in the 14^th century that St. Valentine day became definitively associated with love. Around the middle ages Valentine became the most popular saint in England and France. Then in the 18^th century gift giving and exchanging hand-made cards on Valentine’s Day became common. Today, Valentine is celebrated all over the world. According to the Greeting Card Association, an estimated one billion valentine cards are sent each year, making Valentine’s Day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year.
