Crazy Car Experiment #5

Here you have the last “Crazy Car Experiment” video for this year (Unless I’ll begin doing it Down Under, but I doubt it xD). This time we didn’t expect the rain, and then all of a sudden it just began to rain like hell for about 20minutes I think. That was were my friend and me decided to hit the parking lot :P . We found a big industrial street sign that we used in the experiment. I have to say that this is the best (and most fun) episode I have made in the Crazy Car Experiment series. Ok, I know that the video might get quirt boring because the plate never slept off, so it’s like 7 minutes of pure sliding :P .
Enjoy :D

Ok folks, that was all for today. I hope to be back tomorrow with a high quality recording, hehehe :P :P

Crazy Car Experiment #4 (Short Version)

Hey folks, I have just come up with the short version of the last crazy video I posted. I personally thought that the video didn’t get to the point as all the others in the Crazy Car Experiment series, and therefore I came up with this; short and straight to the point, enjoy!

So that was me with a very short video in a very short post xD.

See ya soon :)

Crazy Car Experiment #4

Hey folks :) , here I am with the Crazy Car Experiment #4 :D . All I can say is that we really didn’t expect all that rain; in fact, Italy hasn’t got all that rain in years. In the video you will not only see us sliding in the parking lot, but you will also see some shots with the car in the rain xD (I have watched them a couple of times while editing, and some things don’t give an image of how fun and extreme the situation was xD), and in the end you’ll see some other random stuff :P . Anyway I’ll just make it short because the almost 11 minutes video really explains it all, happy watching :D .

As you see in the video things went pretty well and we really had a lot of fun that day :) .

p.s. My friend and me went out to take the pieces of aluminium trays with us home (because we forgot all about them that day), but somebody had come taking them away, so that was very sad! Anyway we found a vacuum cleaner (you can actually see it in the video), and we had a lot of fun with it :) . We managed to wire it to the car (using it’s power cable) and then we just gave it the ride of it’s life in the whole industrial area, but it all came to an end when it hit a wall going around 50km/h, the top kind of exploded into many pieces together with a dust sky. Unfortunately we couldn’t film it because it was too dark, but we took a photo of if just to let you see it’s brutal death muhaha xD. Here it is :D

This is the dead vaccum cleaner some nights after the crazy car experiment #4

Dead Vaccum Cleaner

Anyway, we found another nice alternative to slide with (according to us) that same night. Let me just give you a hint: until now we have used a tray per wheel, but what will happen when we take one single tray that covers both wheels? Well, I think that it will increase stability a little and make it less able to skid away under the wheels, but it’s only theories. I pretty sure that we will find out next time in the Crazy Car Experiment #5 :D

p.p.s. I’m thinking of doing a short version of this video, just to make it a little more to the point, without all our other things and all that text. It will be more intense because the action is all gathered in a small clip that latest the whole film. I think that it will be posted tomorrow, but I’m not sure yet. Anyway I’m planning to make the video 2 minutes or less, to get all the action gathered in one little clip; but we’ll just have to see on the length :) .

That was all for now folks, I’ll be seeing you tomorrow I think :D .
Ciao :)

Crazy Car Experiment #3

Hey Max here, today it was finally time to do the third attempt in the “crazy car experiment” series. It took us a little to come up with the experiment, because we wanted to make it as legal as possible xD. Well I’m explaining the whole thing in the video, so I will just let you see the video without further comments :P .

P.s. I haven’t got much time at the moment (you know I’m studying like mad), so it may take some time before the next video in this series comes up, but I will do my best to keep creating 6 or more posts a month (like I have accompliced so far) :) . Okay, that was all for now, I will keep you updated when something new happens :) .

See you next time :) .

Crazy Car Experiment #2

So here I am with my second attempt in the “crazy car experiment” series xD. We decided to shoot the video on Saturday, and not Sunday, we did this because it was raining like hell, so there should have been no problem regarding too much traction. Ehm..Well, I will just let you watch the video without adding further.

So as you can see in the video, the frying pan was gripping too much, if you watch closely in the video you can see it leaving a 25cm line of metal behind it when I attempt to slide with it. So as said in the video, we really learned a lot by using metal. Now we know that we are going to have a larger surface if we are going to slide, and it should be flat too (no small points where all the weight it centred). And no curved angles that goes to about 45° and then stops. We already got something in mind, but I wont tell you yet, let’s say it’s still beta xD.

So as you can hear I have really gone into this, I mean, they should make it a sport :P , and make some forums on the internet discussing the best material hehe :P (I have already been searching a little on the internet, but couldn’t find anything hehe). Ok, think I got a little carried away there. Anyway, I’m sure that there will be a third video in the “crazy car experiment” series hahaha. So stay tuned to find out what I’m going to use next :P

See ya folks! ;)

Crazy Car Experiment #1

Today it’s raining in Italy, almost everybody is staying inside. But why stay inside when you can have a hell lot of fun out in the open? My friend and me aren’t staying inside today, we are going to a parking lot to try a crazy experiment with my car. I won’t tell you what kind of “experiment” it is, you will have to see for your self in the video. All I can say is that I saw a dude doing it on YouTube and thought it could be so fun trying to do it myself :P . Enough talk, let’s get on with the video.

As you can see in the video, things didn’t went as planned, so let’s just call this a “warm up” for next time. I’m pretty sure that it will work next time, due to the change in the material we will make :P . I personally can’t wait :D :D.

Please let it rain next Sunday!
